The Central Iowa program CultureALL services more than 30,000 students, teachers and community members, helping them build a better understanding of cultures around the world to form a more inclusive community.
Founded 13 years ago, CultureALL says it is proud to be the only organization in the U.S. that recruits local people who were born in other countries or that have lived and worked with other cultures and trains them to be its CultureALL Ambassadors, the organization said on its website.
“The mission of CultureALL is to lead communities to value our culturally rich diversity by creating authentic experiences that engage Iowans in cultural diversity within schools, around the community, and in collaboration with businesses,” the organization said.
CultureAll visits schools, businesses, senior centers with interactive workshops and presentations that get the participants and audience involved with learning something new about a different culture. The organization has reached over 300,000 students and adults, helping them learn valuable information about other cultures and how to interact with people from areas outside of the U.S.
